As the 50-year anniversary of the UT Tower shooting approaches on August 1, 2016, Bruton Translations was contacted by a relative of Ramiro Martínez, one of the Austin police officers credited with killing the gunman, to translate some corridos written immediately after the tragedy which commemorate this act of bravery.
